Onslow Republican Women won the Diamond Achievement Award for during the National Federation of Republican Women 41st Biennial Convention October 1st, 2021 in Orlando. This recognition comes after two years of work by club leaders and members. For 2020/21, 500 awards were presented to clubs for excellence at Diamond, Gold, Silver and Bronze achievement levels.

Pictured above, Caring for America Chairwoman, XXXX accepts the Diamond Achievement award from NFRW President Ann Schockett. Lisa Carpenter, club president in 2020-2021, stated, “I am so proud of our club members and all the hard work they put into making a difference. This award reflects their commitment to growth, leadership and service in our community.”

The local club spent two years working to develop membership, campaign activities, community relations, leadership development and more. Members volunteered many hours to achieve this national status.

Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women is the largest grassroots Republican women’s organization in the country with tens of thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation. Building leaders, energizing communities and keeping America strong, NFRW empowers women from all backgrounds in the political process and provides a forum for women to serve as leaders in the political, government, and civic arenas.
